Our Mission

  • Building Safer, Healthier and Stronger Communities

The Circle of Hope Ministries is a faith-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization, founded by Rev. Dr. John C. Dortch, currently a member of the ministerial team at St. Paul Baptist Church in Beaufort, SC under the leadership of Pastor Donald Goodwine. The Circle of Hope is committed to the Biblical precept that we serve God by serving others. There is a Divine imperative to, not only share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but to also do the Gospel: feed the hungered, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the prisoners, and to minister to the sick, orphans and widows. The Lord says, "That which you do unto the least of these my brethren, ye also do it unto me." (Matthew 25:40) Truly, "we are our brothers and sisters keepers."
