Candace Brasseur

  • Candace Brasseur is a member of the Board of Directors of the Circle of Hope Ministries. She and her family are regular attendees at Central Baptist Church, where Rev. Dr. John C. Dortch serves as pastor. Candace is a devout Christian and often volunteers to assist in various ministries, faithfully exercising the gifts and talents that God has graced her with.

Candace has a quiet demeanor, but her warm and loving presence is always felt. She currently serves as the Communications and Marketing Director at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Prior to her arrival at USCB, she worked for the State Department as an Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer in the Department of Public Affairs at the United States Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While assigned to the embassy, Candace managed the English language scholarship program and spearheaded a successful public-private partnership campaign.

Candace is also an award winning screenwriter, who earned a Master's of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University in New York. We, at the Circle of Hope Ministries, are delighted to have her on our team. Truly, "to God be the Glory".
