    MANAGEMENT

Jim and Kathy Powley (co-managers of the thrift store} Jim and Kathy Powley were born and raised in small farming communities in western New York. After graduating, they moved about, living in several states with their two beautiful daughters. Eventually they settled in Naples, Florida, where Jim spent his career days as a superintendent for luxury home builders. Kathy, meanwhile, spent her time in the pre-press department of various printing firms.

When in Florida, Jim and Kathy founded and developed a nonprofit, charitable mental health organization to help those suffering with mental health issues. Upon retiring, they returned north to be closer to family. living in the countryside, south of Syracuse, Jim and Kathy enjoyed the farm experience of opening and running a roadside produce stand. After serving as members of our volunteer staff for over a year, Jim and Kathy graciously agreed to co-manage the thrift store as lead volunteers. Our thrift store is managed and operated by a team of dedicated volunteers who are passionate and committed to our mission.
